A beloved old friend. Many people have a relation to Interrail and for most, thoughts leads back to memories from the youth of spontaneous traveling through Europe. In todays society were the climate debate is hotter than ever we wanted to give Interrail a new visual identity to compete of a new growing potential market. 

By moving the brand closer to the visual language of Airlines Interrail will become a creditable option for those who seek an alternative in todays fashion of travelling. And by looking back in previous material we adapted the slogan "By rail" and integrated it in campaigns for print and social media. This will keep the core of the brand and make them stay true to their heritage. We developed the web and booking system to help the customers find a suitable alternative of ticket. And by creating an app it will be easy to follow your journey and make changes if necessary. With the new visual identity and features Interrail now feels safe and easy to use. Like a beloved old friend in a new and modern look.

This work was a Graduation project for the education Graphic Designer/Technician at Brobygrafiska.
